Having all prescriptions at the same pharmacy is not only convenient; it can help prevent possible drug interactions. Provide your current pharmacy information to a Henry Ford Pharmacy Employee and let us do the rest.

Medicare Part B Billing
Some of our pharmacies have the ability to bill Medicare Part B for qualified prescriptions.
Part B Prescription billing is currently available at the following pharmacies:
Pharmacy Advantage, Fairlane, Woodhaven, Columbus, West Bloomfield, One Ford Place, K-15, Southfield, Detroit Northwest, Sterling Heights, Taylor, St. Clair Shores, Pierson, Plymouth, Livonia, Lakeside, and Main Campus Hospital Discharge Pharmacy.
Prescription Flavoring
We can add flavoring to help medication go down a little easier. Flavors available will vary by medication and pharmacy location.
Prescription Flavoring service is available at the following pharmacies:
Canton, Fairlane, Farmington Rd., Ford Rd., Livonia, Plymouth, St. Clair Shores, Sterling Heights, and West Bloomfield.
Pets
We carry a variety of medications commonly prescribed for animals.
Hospice Prescription Program
Henry Ford Pharmacies are able to bill eligible insurance plans for patients needing Hospice care. The pharmacy is able to prepare prescribed medications for pickup by a family member, friend, or caretaker.
The Hospice Prescription Program is available at all our pharmacies.
Internal Medicine
Offered to patients seen in a Henry Ford Internal Medical Center. The pharmacy is able to fill existing or new prescriptions and have them ready for pickup at the pharmacy before the patient leaves the building. Patients will be able to leave appointments with medication in hand and start therapy right away.
The Internal Medicine Program is available at the following pharmacies:
Columbus, Fairlane, Farmington Rd., Lakeside, Livonia, St. Clair Shores, Sterling Heights, Taylor, and Woodhaven.
Delivery Programs
Benefits to utilizing Henry Ford Pharmacy Delivery Programs:
Saves patient time: NO unnecessary stops on the way home from the hospital or medical center. Henry Ford Pharmacies stock many hard to find/complex medications that local/retail pharmacies normally do not carry. Direct verification of your prescriptions through your physician and care team to certify appropriate medications are dispensed prior to discharge.Additional medication counseling is available from Henry Ford pharmacists (before and after appointment or hospital release).
Specialty Pharmacy and Free Home Delivery
Henry Ford Pharmacy Specialty Pharmacy is a Michigan-based organization that provides compassionate care and comprehensive Medication Therapy Management Programs (MTM) to patients with acute and chronic conditions. Core programs offered include: Oncology, Hepatitis B and C, Multiple Sclerosis, Growth Hormone Deficiency, Fertility, Transplant, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Crohn’s Disease and other Autoimmune Disorders. Incorporated specialty services: free prescription delivery, benefits investigation, financial assistance programs and disease specific clinical counseling. Our design encompasses systems to certify appropriate medication utilization, adherence, and routine preventative measures to limit adverse reactions. In light of persistent and confusing changes regarding the health care model, this highly-trained team continuously acts to increase customer satisfaction by means of furnishing paramount service with a personalized touch. Prescription Medication Disposal
Is your medicine cabinet full of expired medications you no longer use? How should you dispose of them?
Select Henry Ford Pharmacies provide a safe, convenient, and responsible means for disposing of unused or expired prescription medication(s).
ACCEPTED: Prescriptions, Prescription Ointments, Pet Medications, Prescription Patches, Over–the–Counter Medications, and Vitamins
NOT ACCEPTED: Needles, Inhalers, Aerosol Cans, Hydrogen Peroxide, Thermometers, Lotions or Liquids
Prescription Medication Disposal service is available at the following Henry Ford Pharmacy locations:
Pierson, Lakeside, K-15, Livonia, Wyandotte, Brownstown, West Bloomfield, One Ford Place, Macomb, Chesterfield, Ford Rd, and Main Campus Hospital Lobby Pharmacy.
How can I safely and properly dispose of my expired and/or unused medication(s).

- For Oral Chemotherapy patients, you normally will not have pills left over, however if you do, DO NOT flush them down the toilet or sink. Chemotherapy drugs are typically not accepted at independently hosted take back locations. Please do the following:
- Take them to your next appointment with your Hematologist/Oncologist
- Call your local health department for locations in your area to dispose of oral chemotherapy
